For A Golden Home - HIVE Beenut Butter Challenge, 22 March 2015

It is time to do some good this weekend, and this Sunday from 12pm to 4pm, HIVE is hosting a Beenut Butter Challenge for 9 local bakers to present their baked goods for sale.

Proceeds will go to the #foragoldenhome cause, which is to help the elderly and destitute to help them clean up their homes and provide a more hygienic and liveable environment.

Whilst many of us are happily whatsapping and watching K-Dramas with our mobile phones and gadgets, we sometimes forget that there are 35,000 people out there who are alone and staying by themselves.

Some may not even have the basic necessities of a regular home, and surviving in conditions that are barely fit for living. #foragoldenhome aims to channel the funds raised from events to help these people have better living quarters and give them a healthy and more comfortable home so that they can enjoy a better quality of life.

Beenut Butter and Jelly Bar

In conjunction with this cause, HIVE cafe at Bukit Ho Swee is hosting a Beenut Butter Challenge for 9 local bakers' baked goods this weekend at their location from 12pm to 4pm. You will get to sample delicious pastries made using a more natural form of peanut butter that does not use artificial sweetener, but focuses on using natural Wildflower honey without any added sugar or preservatives.

One of my dear friends, fellow blogger Fundamentally Flawed will be presenting her range of Beenut Butter goodies, including the above pictured Beenut Butter and Jelly Bar.

Beenut Butter Banana Mini Bundts

Another amazing creation of hers is this addictive Beenut Butter Banana Mini Bundt. Trust me, doing charity has never tasted so good. For chocolate lovers, her Beenut Butter With Warm Chocolate Drizzle should prove to be another hit.

There will be 8 other bakers besides @fundamentally_flawed who will be presenting equally tantalising pastries using Beenut Butter as well this Sunday and it will be an incredible array of beautiful bakes.
